Young Sierrans is a life stage section within the Dallas Sierra Club.  Our mission is to connect, inform and involve environmentally-minded individuals in their 20s and 30s with opportunities that explore, enjoy and protect our planet.

DEC 5 (SAT) GUIDED TOUR/LUNCH - MCCOMMAS BLUFF LANDFILL - DALLAS Please join us for a unique opportunity to tour the McCommas Bluff Landfill in Dallas. The City of Dallas landfill is the largest in the state (15th largest in the nation). The facility manager will cover a wide range of topics, including, CoD landfill and recycling operations, procedures, costs/revenues and general info; the bioreactor technology (methane gas harnessing for resale) utilized at the facility; waste mgmt industry insight.
