Service Outing at Cedar Ridge Preserve, June 28 Special Dallas Sierra Club service outing from 8AM – 12 noon at Cedar Ridge Preserve, one of our closest special hiking locations, only about 20 minutes southwest of downtown Dallas. Come enjoy the company of fellow Sierrans and friends while we remove non-native and overgrown plants from around the much loved cattail pond. Rumor has it chocolate may also be involved. Project guidance and equipment will be provided by Audubon Dallas. Volunteers must be at least 18 yrs. of age and sign up before the event (preferably by June 1st). Members and non-members welcome. Details including directions and information on event private parking and possible carpooling will be sent to volunteers via email the week before the event.
