Shrimp hearing in Corpus Christi at TAMU-CC in the Resource Center, room
1003 at 7 p.m. Please try to be there so that we can ask for more protection
for the endangered turtles.
August 29
(Early notice). The city of Corpus Christi is hoping to found a Tax
Increment District on Padre Island with the goal of dredging Packery
Channel. This is in spite of the negative vote of the public last
summer. Same old same old. More on this development next month, but plan to
attend the hearing.
