The lake is in the NRA Primative Area (no motor vehicles allowed) and is about 4 miles up the trail from the 4WD parking lot at the end of a long dirt road. The lake is on a loop trail that continues about 12 miles into the primative area and back out to Petit Lake. Photo by Bob DeVor.

named because the wind through the valley makes a loud roaring sound on windy
days. Photo by Doug Engle.
10. A few more miles up the trail, further into the primative area, you come upon Imogene Lake, one of the prettiest lakes in the area.

river water and very hot spring water.
